GRANULAR
"A" GRAVEL
Granular base product of smaller crushed stones and sand. Good for fine grading with excellent compaction. Used for walkways, patios, retaining walls driveways and bases for concrete pads and asphalt.
PIT RUN
Naturally occurring granular till. Good for soft areas that require strong high performance bases. Used for creating a heavy solid base for roadways, parking lots and sub base under side concrete slabs in buildings.
PIPE BEDDING
'B' GRAVEL
Material laid below a pipe that supports the pipe against the top and adjacent soil load on the pipe.
Screened
Granular-based product made up of 2" and smaller stone and sand. Easier to work with than Pit run. Used as a sub-base for roadways, parking lots and underside concrete slabs in buildings.
CRUSHER RUN
Screened and crushed material that can be compacted. Often used for a sub-base material for roads and parking lots.
SAND
SCREENED SAND
Sand which has been screened free of stones. Very easy to grade and compacts well; displaces easier. Typically used for back fill or as a base for patios, walkways and concrete pads.
BRICK SAND
BANK SAND/ SAND FILL
Sand based product containing little to no silt or clay. Screened and washed. Used for mixing mortar/concrete, cow bedding and equine arena footing.
Non-processed sand contains some generally smaller stones. Cost Effective and free draining. Used for back fill around buildings and houses.
BEDDING/COW SAND

ROUND STONE
4"-8" ROUND/RIVER STONE
A mix of round stone from 8" to 4". Primarily used for landscaping purposes in gardens, walkways, retaining walls, dry creek beds or as rip rap.
RIP RAP
Also known as rock armour or rubble. 2"-4" Limestone. Used to reduce rate of erosion in water outlets, drains or ditches.

STONE DUST
Fine stone screenings product that is coarser than sand, finer than granular 'A'. Used as a base for Patio stones, flag stone, interlocking brick/pavers, under sidewalks, patios and driveways. baseball fields and equine riding arenas.
1" & 3/4" CRUSHED STONE
Clear crushed stone approx. 3/4" or 1" in diameter. Good for drainage and non-compaction applications. Used under decks, concrete slabs or in trenches/excavation when laying tile or pipe.
3/4" & 1/2" CRUSHED & WASHED STONE
A Washed crushed stone 3/4" in diameter. Used in areas where clean drainage is needed. Used to bed big 'O' and in septic systems
1/4" CRUSHED & WASHED
Washed crushed stone 1/4" in diameter. Clean free draining that is easy to grade, and maintain. Excellent for top-dressing gravel driveways because it locks up and keeps sand/mud from tracking. Also can be used to bed pipe and tile or as a base for concrete slabs.
RECYCLED PRODUCTS
RECYCLED ASPHALT
PAVEMENT (R.A.P.)
Made of ground-up asphalt paving. More durable than 'A' gravel with less displacement and a nicer finish. Typically used to top-dress driveways and parking lots.
RECYCLED FILL
Fines from recycled material, mixed with sand. Used as a backfill material.
RECYCLED CONCRETE 'A' GRAVEL
Made of ground-up concrete resulting in an 'A' gravel-like material. Cost-effective alternative to granular 'A' with similar performance.
CRUSHED CONCRETE COARSE (RECYCLED 'B')
Concrete aggregate was collected from demolition sites that have been crushed and screened. Used as a base for roadways, especially in very wet conditions.
CRUSHED CONCRETE COARSE (RECYCLED 4" CLEAR)
Concrete aggregate is collected from demolition sites that have been crushed and have the fine screened out. Used as a base for roadways, in wet and muddy conditions. Can also be used as drainage material.
TOPSOIL - per cubic yard
SCREENED AND UNSCREENED TOPSOIL
Outer most layer( 5 to 10 inches) of soil, which contains the highest concentration of organic matter, micro-organisms and where most of the Earth's biological activity occurs. Typically used for project final grading, in preparation for landscaping.
